AGFA Isolette

Agfa launched the Isolette cameras in 1938. The model shown here was built in a large number between 1950 and 1960. With its quality lens and the big format (6x6 cm) very sharp pictures could be obtained. On the other hand, thanks to the folding principle, the closed camera was quite small and could easily be carried in the pocket of a coat, for example.

Lens: Agfa Apotar 4,5 / 8,3cm

Shutter: Compur Rapid, 1 sec to 1/500 sec

In order to prevent accidental superposition of two frames the shutter release is mechanically disabled unless the film is transported.
