SANKYO 8-L Zoom

This is a very compact and interesting amateur camera made in Japan. Please note that this is a zoom camera with an optical view-finder. This concept requires a view-finder with a variable viewing angle. Both, the lens and the finder, are mechanically connected in order to be always set to the same viewing angle. Since the lens is exchangeable this connection is an external one which can easily be detached. Very surprising also the mention of "Autofocus" on the front ring of the lens. Obviously, twenty years before the introduction of the first autofocus systems, this term did not yet have the same meaning it has today.
You will note the stunning similarity between this camera and the Bolex B-8.
